Kevin Xavier is the Founder of Thermosafe Solutions, a Western Australian business focused on developing smarter fire suppression systems for lithium-ion battery risks in mining and other high-risk industries. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the mining sector, Kevin has built his career working across heavy diesel maintenance, product support, commissioning, and specialist technical roles on surface mining equipment throughout Australia.
His background includes extensive experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, CAN-bus diagnostics, machine performance, and site safety, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges faced by operators in harsh and demanding environments. Through this experience, Kevin identified a growing gap in fire protection for battery-powered equipment and saw the need for a more intelligent, proactive solution.
That vision led to the creation of Thermosafe Solutions, a company dedicated to developing advanced suppression technology that not only responds to fire events but also aims to detect warning signs earlier, improve safety outcomes, and provide better monitoring and control for modern battery systems.
Kevin is passionate about bringing practical, industry-driven innovation into sectors adapting to electrification, with a strong focus on mining, battery storage, and other emerging applications where lithium-ion fire risk is becoming more critical.
